About Me

After leaving the group, I focused

all my energies on graduating in

Chemical Engineering. And by that,

I mean I successfully slept through

my capstone class (who schedules senior

classes for 8 am?), but managed to make

it to all my aerobic dance classes. After that semester, I found out to my
dismay that aerobic dance does not qualify as an engineering elective, but my
money for school ran out so I’m still half a credit away from my degree.
Fortunately I do what most people do and just lied on my resume. I got a job
at a large engineering firm, however due to my “creative” resume, they
assigned me to the Chinese division, thinking I was fluent in Mandarin. So I
bought a Chinese to English dictionary, learned how to say “That’s all
wrong! I’ll do it!” on the plane ride over, and earned a reputation as a
real firebrand. Management was impressed by my take no prisoners attitude,
gave me a big promotion, and transferred me back to the states. So all in
all, I have actually regressed as a person. In other news, I met my wife
online, we were married in the Treasure Island casino by a pirate, and now we
have a baby who squints a lot. I call her Roxy, after my grandmother, who
goes by Mildred. So if anyone ever needs a horizontal belt filter for slurry
dewatering, or a quick primer on how to survive in China on 6 words a day,
let me know.
